fishpatrol did a podfic of Chuck Versus the Left Turn at Albuquerque, a Chuck story that is a fusion with another fandom. Yay! Inquiring minds: If you could remix any of my works, what would you do? Just hypothetically, though anyone always has blanket permission to remix/write a sequel to/whatever any of my stories. Also I love podfic. Anyone who recorded Vagabondage in particular would make me very very happy.

Speaking of xovers--I randomly saw a picture of Hugh Laurie and Josh Jackson riding around in a golf cart together during the Fox upfronts--and I thought why have there been no Fringe/House xovers? They would go together perfectly (maybe there have been, and I just don't know).

I honestly don't know what of yours I'd remix, because most everything you write has porn (which I don't have the hang of yet, and the sex is so much a key part of everything you put it in that I don't know how I'd remix those to PG-13), Castiel (who I don't have a handle on), and/or an intimate knowledge of Judaism (which I haven't got). Which pretty much narrows my choices to Sanguine & Visceral, Ugly Duckling, First Night, and Becky's C&D, and that last is out because I don't know enough about the law as it pertains to fannishness. And I have no idea where I'd start with any of the others.

What I actually did write for Remix involved taking my remixee's fic and using it as the pebble setting off an avalanche of changes adding up to an epic plot fixing everything I saw as wrong with S4. This probably says something about me.

I like the idea that Dean has demon-fighting power, because it does explain the otherwise puzzling and even somewhat offensive idea that you can fight possession if you want it bad enough. We've met plenty of possessed people who wanted to escape bad, including the girl whose name the Meg demon appropriated.

Great minds and unregistered lurkers think alike!
In fact, I'm only reading this because 10 minutes ago I suddenly thought, out of the blue, I wish someone made a podfic of that awesome story where Sam finds guys to top Dean so that he can be safe. Oh the unresolved d/s tension!
And then I went looking for it on delicious because I couldn't remember the title or the author, found it, bookmarked it, decided to look around a bit, and that's how I wound up reading this post. :-)
