I think I have read that trilogy (and Bride of the Rat God), but if so it was a ways back. "Sisters of the Raven" is the only Hambly I've read in a long while. It was fine, but I think I'm on more of an sf kick these days as I work my way through Lois McMaster Bujold's stuff. Reading her stuff is like watching someone take a big Lego set -- all the cliches and one-liners of sf/action-adventure -- and build a model of the Empire State Building. To wit, it's pretty impressive.
