I remember that one, though it didn't much move me. I just checked and found her website disabled, which includes a draft of Probe (substantially different from the published version) and I wondered whether she'd been having copyright problems. Or maybe she just forgot to pay her bill.
Of course, for real published K/S, "Killing Time" by Della Van Hise is your book. I didn't get into it myself, but the story of its publication and immediate yanking from bookstores is here (http://www.well.com/user/sjroby/lostbooks.html). There's a story in Star Trek: The New Voyages 1 or 2 that's incredibly slashy (to the extent that a drug-addled Spock says that he and Kirk should go down to the Planet of Danger because they could be together there, always, and the crew reacts with embarrasment but no surprise).
After the Duane and Hambly books, though, I'd have to say that "How Much for Just the Planet?" is on my favorites list, and then we have to jump to Peter David and TNG. I didn't much note his TOS book, but I love his take on the TNG characters, especially Q.
