Right now 2.0 is wearing a cute "toe truck" outfit that's red and blue with dump trucks on it, but she also has a huge wardrobe of pink stuff given to us by one of my husband's colleagues, who had 2 girls and many, many relatives. (It's seriously huge. I may not need to do laundry in the first month.)
I agree wholeheartedly about the freakish gendering/cultural hysteria. Good news: I like yellow, and even green with frogs on it, just fine. And my mother, once shown the two dressers full of hand-me-down baby clothes, refrained from buying any more.
